Accessibility Statement
Effective date: July 3, 2026
Axial Fans USA Inc. (“AFI USA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to ensuring that axialfansusa.com (the “Site”) is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe that digital accessibility is both a legal responsibility and a fundamental part of building professional, trustworthy tools for the industries we serve.
Our Commitment
AFI USA is committed to providing a Site that is accessible to users of all abilities. We recognize that accessibility is not a one-time project but an ongoing responsibility, and we work to improve the experience for everyone by applying relevant accessibility standards during design, development and maintenance.
Standards We Follow
The Site is designed and developed with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the technical standard most commonly cited under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is the benchmark we use to evaluate the accessibility of the Site.
Areas we specifically consider include:
- Perceivable content: meaningful text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast between text and background, resizable text, and content structure that does not rely on color or shape alone.
- Operable interface: full keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, visible focus indicators, no content that flashes in a way that could cause seizures, and clear page titles and headings.
- Understandable information: consistent navigation across pages, plain-language labels, clear form instructions and error messages.
- Robust markup: use of semantic HTML and appropriate ARIA attributes so that content is properly interpreted by assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Measures We Have Taken
During the design and development of the Site, we have taken the following measures to support accessibility:
- Built the Site with semantic HTML5 structure, native heading hierarchy, and appropriate landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer).
- Provided text alternatives for images and non-text content that convey information, and marked purely decorative images so they are ignored by assistive technologies.
- Ensured that all interactive elements — including navigation links, buttons, form fields and the cookie preferences control — are reachable and operable using the keyboard alone.
- Applied color combinations that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements for text and interactive elements.
- Respected the user's preference for reduced motion, so that animations and scroll effects are minimized when the operating system requests it.
- Structured form fields with visible labels, associated help text and accessible error messaging.
- Ensured that the Site is fully responsive and usable on a wide range of screen sizes, including on assistive-technology configurations.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on the Site may not yet meet the highest level of accessibility. Known limitations include:
- Embedded third-party components (for example, the Google Maps view on the Contact page) are provided by external vendors whose accessibility is beyond our direct control. Where a third-party component may present accessibility challenges, we provide the same information (such as our office address and phone number) in accessible text form nearby.
- Certain technical drawings, diagrams and product datasheets available for download are provided in their original published form and may not include fully accessible text alternatives. If you require an accessible version of any downloadable resource, please contact us using the information in Section 6 and we will make reasonable efforts to provide it.
- Rich scroll-driven animations and motion effects are used throughout the Site for visual storytelling. These effects are automatically minimized for users who have enabled the “reduce motion” preference in their operating system.
Assistive Technologies Compatibility
The Site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major screen readers and assistive technologies, including:
- NVDA and JAWS on Windows, with Chrome, Edge and Firefox;
- VoiceOver on macOS with Safari and Chrome, and on iOS with Safari;
- TalkBack on Android with Chrome.
For the best experience, we recommend using an up-to-date browser and assistive technology combination.
Reporting Accessibility Issues
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of the Site. If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing or using the Site, or if you need information from the Site in an alternative format, please contact us using the details below. Please include:
- The page or feature where you encountered the issue;
- A brief description of the issue and the assistive technology (if any) you were using;
- Your preferred contact method for our response.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five (5) business days and to respond substantively within a reasonable time depending on the complexity of the issue.
Ongoing Improvement
We treat accessibility as an ongoing process. As the Site is updated, new features are added, or the WCAG guidelines are revised, we re-evaluate the Site's accessibility and address any regressions or new gaps. Feedback from users and from accessibility reviews directly informs our roadmap.
